What is the Dallas Corporate 5K?

The Dallas Corporate 5K is a one-of-a-kind fitness and social event designed to promote wellness within organizations, community and non-profit groups. Organizations participate in the Dallas Corporate 5K to emphasize the importance of staying active and healthy, as an opportunity for team building activities and to network with other organizations. The Dallas Corporate 5K provides teams with a platform to create ongoing health & wellness initiatives throughout the year.

Who can participate?

Anyone can participate! The Dallas Corporate 5K is about coming together as an organization and community to promote and celebrate health & wellness! No matter what industry you work in, the Dallas Corporate 5K is the perfect event for team building, networking and celebrating healthy living! 

Can I walk the 5K?

Yes! We encourage any level runner or walker to participate in the Dallas Corporate 5K.

Registration

How do I create a team?

Creating a team is quick and easy! Simply select Create a Team below the pricing table on the event homepage to register your organization.

How do I join my team?

You can join your team by selecting the Register button below the pricing table followed by Join a Team the Race Roster registration homepage. Simply create a Race Roster account (or log-in if returning), fill out your personal information and select your team on the team list.

Can’t find your team?

If you can’t find your team within the “View Teams” tab on the left side of the registration page, please contact your team captain to ensure your organization has created a team and verify the name of your team.

Don’t have a team or team captain? Don’t worry. Either find a team captain or become one yourself! Creating a team is quick and easy!

How do I cover or subsidize the cost for my team member?

There are three options available to companies/groups wishing to cover the registration costs for their employees or members. Bulk registrations can be bought at a discount in packages of 10, 20 or 50 at a time. After purchasing one of these packages, you will be provided a code good for an equivalent number of entries to distribute to your employees or team members to use when they register. If additional entries are needed, you can purchase additional registration codes at the same discounted price as your original purchase.

Can I participate if I’m not affiliated with any organization (i.e. as an individual)?

Yes! Even if you’re not affiliated with any organization you can still participate. Simply select “No, do not add this participant to a team” during registration. As a reminder, individual participants are responsible for picking up their own packet.

When does online registration close?

Online registration closes at 11:59 PM on Tuesday, April 30th, however you can register in-person on event day at packet pick-up.

Will there be registration on event day?

Yes. Registration will be open on-site at Trinity Groves from 12 PM – 6:45 PM.

I can’t participate, can I receive a refund?

Registration fees are non-refundable. If you’re unable to participate you may transfer your registration. Registrations can be transferred up until Tuesday, May 1st.

What is the minimum age to participate?

For safety reasons, all participants must be 8 years of age or older to participate. All participants must register to participate.

Awards & Scoring

Is the 5K chip timed?

Yes, new for 2019, all participants will be chip timed.

How do we submit our team’s score?

You no longer have to submit your team’s score. Team scoring will be based on the cumulative time of the top two male and top two female finishers from your team.  You must have a minimum of four (4) team members to be eligible for team scoring.

When will team results be posted?

Team results will be available on event night at the registration / information tent following the race.

Event

Who is responsible for packet pick-up?

Only Team Captains are responsible for packet pick-up. Team Captains will receive a box including all shirts, bibs, safety pins and event information for their team. Individual participants are responsible for picking up their own packet.

When and where is packet pick-up?

Packet pick-up will be held at Trinity Groves (off of Gulden Ln.) on Wed., May 1st from 4pm-7pm and on Thurs., May 2nd (event day) from Noon-6:45pm.

Can I use my Trinity Groves Dollars on another day?

No, all Trinity Groves Dollars must be redeemed on Thursday, May 2nd.

Where should I park?

The main parking lot is located near the intersection of Gulden Ln. & Singleton Blvd. (east side of Trinity Groves). The secondary lot (overflow) will be on the west side of Trinity Groves off of Herbert St.

When should we arrive?

You and your team should plan to arrive around 6pm.

What is the event schedule?

6 PM: Team Arrival 

7 PM: 5K Start

7:30 PM – 10 PM: Post-Race Party Celebration

8:45 PM: Awards Ceremony 

Where does the 5K start?

The 5K starts and finishes at Trinity Groves adjacent to Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge

Are there water stops on the course?

Yes, there will be one (1) water stop along the course.

Is there medical support on-site?

Yes, medical staff will be located on-course and at Trinity Groves.

What is prohibited?
