BMW Dallas Marathon Announces Partnership with Tetra Pak

Food packaging leader joining forces with the iconic marathon

(DALLAS) – Today, the BMW Dallas Marathon announced its partnership with Tetra Pak, a food packaging and processing solutions leader with U.S. headquarters in North Texas. This year, Tetra Pak will be hydrating runners during Dallas Marathon’s social runs and race weekend with a donation of 27,500 cartons of water.

“The BMW Dallas Marathon is very excited to work with Tetra Pak this year,” said Paul Lambert, President of the BMW Dallas Marathon. “Their commitment to protecting food, people and futures with environmentally sustainable carton packaging is in line with our vision of promoting health and wellness throughout our community.”

Tetra Pak will be taking part in Dallas Marathon’s portfolio of events leading up to and throughout race weekend. Participants can meet Tetra Pak representatives at the five BMW 5K Social Runs taking place October and November throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. During race weekend, attendees can visit Tetra Pak at the Health and Fitness Expo on Friday, and the Post-Race Parties on Saturday and Sunday.

The BMW Weekend of Events directly benefits Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. The Dallas Marathon has donated more than $4 million to the hospital since naming Scottish Rite as its primary beneficiary in 1997.
